Director of Field Service - HybridAs Director of Field Service, you will serve as a strategic leader and P&L owner responsible for the financial health and operational excellence of the B2B service organization. The role bridges the gap between technical execution and business growth by collaborating with Sales and Marketing to leverage service as a competitive value proposition during high-level customer engagements. Leadership efforts focus on fostering a culture of accountability while implementing new technologies and process improvements to maximize field efficiency. Ultimately, the position is tasked with aligning service KPIs with broader corporate objectives to ensure the department remains a profitable, high-performing pillar of the company.Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Drive the development of detailed business strategies for Direct B2B Operations while collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to align service goals with long-term corporate objectives.
  • P&L Management: Exercise full accountability for departmental P&L targets by implementing rigorous cost controls, authorizing strategic service pricing, and negotiating service rates with Sales to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Revenue Synergy: Partner with B2B Marketing and Sales leadership to design and execute service-led initiatives that identify and maximize incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Performance Architecture: Establish and oversee high-level KPIs that align with organizational benchmarks, ensuring Senior Management maintains rigorous monitoring and reporting standards.
  • Operational Transformation: Spearhead continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, leveraging new technologies and process optimizations to enhance field service efficiency.
  • Culture & Accountability: Cultivate a performance-driven culture characterized by high ownership of Canon’s overarching sales, service excellence, and profitability targets.
  • Market Positioning: Serve as a strategic technical advisor in key customer engagements, collaborating with Sales Leadership to articulate the Canon value proposition and service differentiation to high-value clients.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
  • Minimum 8 years of related work experience with 3-5 years of management experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Business
  • Refined project/process management skills are required to participate in customer engagements with Sales leadership, and lead efficiency bolstering initiatives that involve various departments
  • Refined analytical skills are required to plan budgets to ensure profitability, and plan KPIs that will influence desired behaviours
  • Refined time management/multi-tasking skills are required to balance priorities Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Fully bilingual FR/EN is an asset

  • Compensation Range $150,000-180,000 annually.
