- Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in industrial environments
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, motors, control panels, and production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Upgrade outdated electrical systems and components
- Working around heavy machinery
- Climbing, lifting, and standing for long periods
- Exposure to noise, heat, or hazardous conditions
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with automation and control systems (PLCs, robotics)
- Attention to safety and detail
- Electrical Journey level Certification/License or equivalent experience.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to carry out instructions when given (verbal and written).
- Capacity to work independently, with others, or in groups.
- The attitude to gather, review, and analyze information to identify and/or resolve problems.
- Journeyman Electrician License
