We are located a 10min drive outside of Nelson and we are looking for child care for our two children for the end of spring/summer and maybe a little bit into the fall. Our son will be 7 months old and our daughter will be almost 3 years old. We live in a lovely older home with a garden both of which keep us busy and also offer nice spaces to both play and relax in. One of us work full time and varied hours so scheduling can be flexible or regular. The other is home so can help with naps or feeding especially when they don't align. We would love someone who is playful, nurturing, patient, responsible and confident with kids who can also occasionally do childrens' laundry or other small household or garden things while we spend time with the kids. We would mostly need help on weekdays but there are occasional weekend where help would be must appreciated. Our 3 year old daughter is truly a sweet kid, she loves to sing, swing, play outside and read books, everyone says that she is a joy to take care of, minimal meltdowns and really great at independent play. Our boy will be 7 months so at least sitting and starting to eat a bit.
