- Analyze, validate, and assist in the placement of purchase requirements by recommending the appropriate strategy to resolve the on-time delivery equation in relation to cost and the capability of molding/foundry suppliers.
- Ensure and support the monitoring of purchase orders, deliveries, and the profitability of the programs assigned to you during their review.
- Play a leading role in supporting the operational team regarding on-time delivery challenges with suppliers.
- Inform the various departments of any issues concerning the programs under your responsibility and present the resulting action plans.
- Negotiate the parameters/requirements and track parts within your procurement scope to secure needs, in a context of pre-established suppliers.
- Validate that procurement parameters and purchase order archiving are carried out according to internal procedures.
- Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with key suppliers
- You have a university or college degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing role, specifically related to raw materials. (Required)
- You have practical purchasing experience in a technical manufacturing environment and exceptional planning skills. (Required)
- You are an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
- You have strong prioritization, time management, and results-oriented skills.
- You are a quick learner with strong negotiation skills.
- You are functionally fluent in written and spoken French and English.
