
Analyst, Offshore Transport

- Track freight to ensure loads meet business orders and timelines
- Coordinate and optimize delivery into our DC/Transload sites
- Maintain and communicate accurate data to assist the business with making decisions.
- Ensure region-specific audit procedures are followed
- Validation of invoices against contracted rates
- Maintain internal system and reporting so the business has visibility to product arrival and/or delays
- Adhoc reports as required.
- Rerouting and prioritizing freight as requested
- Identifying areas of process improvement
- Investigate all No shows; po concerns, and takes steps to resolve the challenges going forward
- Communicate to all stakeholders what challenges are being addressed; update them regularly to point of resolution.
- Responds to phone and email requests sent by from Planners; Vendors; Replenishment; Scheduling; DCs and other members of Transportation community
- Provide status updates to the business on shipments
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from upper management, DC and replenishment teams.
- Ability to work in multiple systems and applications, with a quick ability to learn
- Teammate, who is willing to assist others when needed
- Above average decision-making skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Prior experience in a transportation environment is preferred
