- Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring the achievement of the company's short- and long-term financial goals, customer satisfaction, and adherence to project budgets and delivery schedules.
- Develop detailed project plans, determine critical paths, identify risks, threats, and potential impacts, and collaborate with functional teams to mitigate risks, recover schedules, or adjust plans as needed.
- Manage and oversee the design and build of mining ventilation systems, including heaters, e-houses, fans, and other product projects assigned.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals, objectives, and deliverables progress according to plan.
- Maintain daily status boards and update relevant business operational applications (e.g., ERP systems) related to each project.
- Establish and maintain project file records, product documentation, transmittals, and communication logs throughout the project's life cycle.
- Work with Legal Counsel and Sales to ensure contractual terms and conditions meet both company and customer requirements, and that all stakeholders understand and adhere to them.
- Identify and implement process improvements to align KPIs, document workflows, manage change controls, and facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent related experience in engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in an engineering, heavy industrial, or construction firm (experience in the mining or ventilation industry preferred).
- Project management certification an asset.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex, highly engineered systems through EPCs and A/Es to end-users on capital projects exceeding $5 million.
- Strong financial management capabilities, including delivery within project margins, managing variances, and preparing cash flow projections.
- Proven ability to build and influence teams without direct authority over personnel.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A customer-focused approach, balancing organizational and client interests during disputes.
- Data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute countermeasures with quality and integrity.
- Strong decision-making skills, including knowledge of various decision-making styles and their appropriate application, and the ability to effectively facilitate group decision-making and problem-solving sessions.
- Skilled negotiator, able to earn trust and achieve collaborative outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and/or Primavera. Experience with ERP systems and related technology tools is preferred.
- Day shift schedule (Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week)
- Competitive compensation; starting from $90,000 CAD depending of related experience
