Cognizant is right where you belong.Role overviewWe are looking for someone to join us as we develop and implement policies, programs and tools related to Technology Controls and Information SecurityWhat you’ll do· Develop and maintain information security standards and procedures based on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and organizational needs.· Analyze new information, consolidate content into user-centric documents with complex, fast-paced projects within an agile working environment.· Write for a variety of audiences, from non-technical end-users to developers, system administrators and integrators and guide partners on a broad range of programs, policies, standards, and incidents.· Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to security threats and influence behavior to reduce risk and champion a strong technology risk management culture throughout the enterprise.· Conduct research on emerging vulnerabilities and keep up to date with industry practices and regulatory requirements related to information security.· Review internal processes and assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement make recommendations as applicable.What you bring to the role· Demonstrated ability with developing and maintaining security hardening standards, and cloud platforms experience such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Cloud certifications are a plus.· 5+ years of technical writing experience, specifically with security, cloud, software, or infrastructure documentation.· Knowledge of cloud concepts, GitHub, and technologies. Skilled in documenting APIs.· Work experience with ContentOps, including build processes, docs pipelines, troubleshooting markup, builds, or CMS issues, and creating guidance and instructions. Previous experience with Markdown, YAML, HTML5 and version control is a plus.· Proven experience working with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services to design, build, or integrate IT solutions.What we offer· The chance to work with impact.
