Job Description:SUMMARYThe Research Analyst researches real estate market and property information for the purpose of market intelligence reporting and in support of real estate transactions.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compiles and maintains real estate market information and property data within databases
  • Conducts market research to understand and maintain awareness of current real estate market conditions and trends
  • Compiles real estate market reports and tailors real estate market information and property information reports according to client needs
  • Researches real estate property and market information including but not limited to real estate properties and property values
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Community college diploma or university degree preferably in business administration
  • 1 to 3 years of market research work experience
  • Ability to research and determine appropriate sources of information specifically pertaining to the real estate industry
  • Ability to conduct market research, interpret findings and provide suggestions on appropriate value for real estate properties
  • Ability to tailor information and prepare reports according to client requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data
  • Understanding of the real estate industry, market conditions and trends, an asset
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency with geographic information systems software, an asset. Ability to learn new information systems quickly

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $45,968 - $57,461 per annum.
