
Senior Regional Sales Representative (Mechanical and Electrical Contracts)

- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities for preventative maintenance and service contracts across HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and electrical systems.
- Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and procurement professionals.
- Conduct site assessments and system evaluations to develop tailored maintenance solutions based on equipment condition, usage, and client objectives.
- Prepare detailed service proposals and present value-driven solutions focused on reducing downtime, extending equipment life, and improving energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with the service operations team to ensure seamless contract implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Track contract renewals and proactively manage existing accounts to ensure client retention and identify upsell opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry standards, code compliance requirements, and technological developments that impact building maintenance.
- Accurately maintain CRM records including sales pipeline, contacts, site data, and activity reports.
- Must have a background in Service sales, Building Maintenance solutions such as HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical.
- Good to have is knowledge of property fire system needs.
- Diploma or trade certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Building Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical maintenance.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
- Experience selling service agreements or facility maintenance contracts is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative sales skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a long sales cycle.
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Alberta driver's license and ability to travel throughout the province.
- Demonstrated expertise in all phases of proposal development.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Tenacity with the ability to practice tact and diplomacy with both internal and external interested parties.
- Self-starter with strong sales skills - ability to close deals and deliver against sales targets.
- Ability to forecast short-to-long-term market potential.
