Operations/ SCSREPORTS TO:
Customer Logistics SupervisorJOB PURPOSE
The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate all inbound and outbound loads in the facility and ensure accuracy in receiving/shipping reporting to the Logistics Supervisor.KEY JOB FUCTIONS
  • Coordinate cross-dock activity to ensure accurate flow of freight to SPS and other destinations
  • Process dunnage returns to suppliers
  • Responsible for performance measurement guidelines on the dock
  • Function as a liaison between departments
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed
  • Schedule door assignments, as well as communication for warehouse labour planning
  • Supervise crew of material handlers, shunt drivers and clerks
  • Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Available to work night shift - 20:00 to 04:00 Monday through Friday
  • Available to work Saturdays. Should expect 2 a month minimum.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • AZ license preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Computer literate (advanced level)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a shift work schedule, with minimal supervision
