Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Electronics Assemblers to work for our client, a global electronics manufacturing and supply chain solutions company in Newmarket, ON. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly operations to produce high-quality electronic products. This role requires reading work instructions and drawings, using hand and power tools, performing soldering and inspection, and completing testing to ensure products meet quality and production standards. Flexibility, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to support production goals.
  • As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
Pay Rate: $Location: Newmarket, ONSchedule: 6:30am - 3:00pmJob type: Temporary | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Perform all operations related to the production of electronic products, including preparing and installing assembled printed circuit cards (PCBs) into enclosuresAssemble fabricated parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies at designated workstationsRead and interpret work orders, production drawings, bills of materials, sample assemblies, and written or verbal instructionsPerform wire cutting, stripping, terminating, dressing ends, and other basic cable assembly operationsSolder wires and electronic components into printed circuit boards using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment in accordance with J-STD standardsPerform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools according to product specificationsConduct intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, epoxy bonding, curing, sanding, cleaning, arbor pressing, and related processesPerform assembly and inspection activities under a microscope or other magnification devices as requiredConduct in-process and final inspections, including go/no-go testing, using measuring instruments and electronic test equipmentTest and calibrate parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standardsAccurately input production and quality data into computerized systems using barcode scanningComplete work within standard times and quality levels while following standard work and TAKT time requirementsPerform standard start-up checks and basic maintenance tasks in accordance with site proceduresParticipate in team meetings and communicate effectively to prevent defects, improve efficiency, and promote workplace safetyAdhere to all safety, ESD, quality, and housekeeping policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as assigned, with the understanding that flexibility is required to meet production and business needsQualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or production environment is an assetAbility to work from drawings, schematics, and written instructionsCertification to J-STD standards or willingness to obtainCompletion of assembler training programs (e.g., Torque, Crimp, ESD) as required by training matrixGood manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationStrong attention to detail and qualityWorking knowledge of the English language with good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentAbility to work to TAKT time and meet productivity targetsReliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness and flexibility to work second or third shift when requiredAbility to lift up to 30 lbsStanding or sitting for extended periodsRepetitive hand and arm movementsModerate machine operation and use of hand and power toolsManufacturing environment with adherence to safety and ESD controlsMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
