The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee end-to-end project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring alignment with internal requirements, client expectations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate design, procurement, fabrication, shipping, and installation activities to support projects in being delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and engineering documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Manage project resources including personnel, materials, and equipment, while monitoring progress and proactively resolving issues.
- Track and manage all financial elements of assigned projects, including forecasting, cash flow, billing, procurement, contract revisions, and close-outs.
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget commitments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, providing proactive communication and timely project updates.
- Foster strong relationships, address concerns, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support additional tasks, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration as required.
While no individual will embody every quality, the successful candidate will bring many of the following professional qualifications and personal competencies:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, architecture, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset.
- 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, manufacturing, engineering, or similar project-driven environments.
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase projects from planning through completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, or manufacturing processes; experience with manufactured structural building components.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Teams; CAD experience and PMP certification considered advantageous.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to build strong client relationships with a solutions-focused approach.
