Job Category: OperationDegree Level: High School GraduateJob Description:Materials Cycle CounterJob SummaryThe Materials Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate counts of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all materials required for production are available, tracked, and properly reconciled with the inventory management system.Responsibility
  • Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and maintain an accurate Cycle Count Schedule.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Update inventory records in the ERP system and the Master Tracker on Linus, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
  • Submit daily Inventory Adjustment Approval Reports and update records after receiving approval.
  • Support and assist with Physical Inventory planning and execution as required.
  • Prepare and maintain cycle count reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and provide ABC Inventory Analysis for management review.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and engage plant personnel as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949).
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, electric pump cart) and perform other material handling tasks (loading, unloading, organizing).
  • Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements.
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
