Wages are competitive and based on experience and capability.The RoleWe are looking for a late-stage apprentice (2nd–3rd year) or early journeyman Body Shop Technician who wants to continue developing their skills in a heavy-duty repair environment.Body Repair – Approximately 80% of your timeStructural and non-structural collision repairs on commercial trucks and equipmentPanel removal, replacement, alignment, and adjustmentsSurface preparation including sanding, grinding, masking, and primingSupport and perform refinishing tasks depending on experienceTear-downs and rebuildsFollow OEM repair procedures and shop quality standardsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceShop Support – Approximately 20% of your timeAssist technicians and painters during repair processesMaintain equipment and work areasSupport material handling and parts organizationFollow all health and safety proceduresEducation / CertificationRegistered autobody apprentice (preferred) or journeyman certificationValid driver’s licenseBasic hand tools requiredExperience2–3 years of autobody or collision repair experienceStrong prep and repair fundamentalsAbility to work with guidance and progressively take ownership of repairsHeavy-duty experience is an asset but not required3 Things to Be Successful in This RoleReliability and consistencyWillingness to learn and accept coachingPride in quality workmanshipOther DetailsThis description is a summary and not exhaustive.
