This position will perform labourer duties to support our client located in Joffre, AB. Candidates must live within an 80 km radius of the plant site. All candidates must have CSTS 2020, Fall Protection and Confined Space tickets.Only local candidates to the Red Deer area will be consideredPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:
General Labourer qualification
Experience working on a pipefitter crew would be an asset.
Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs and over time as per request
High commitment to safety, own and others
Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers' License
Able to meet requirements of Physical Demands Analysis
Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training
Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
Training Required: H2S Alive, CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, Confined Space
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Receive permits for required tasks (i.e. pending qualification as a permit receiver)
Review Site Safe Work Procedures associated with the job prior to task execution
Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings and conduct Pre-Task Analysis to identify potential hazards and measures to eliminate or minimize them
Correct unsafe acts and bring unsafe conditions to the attention of immediate supervisor
Work within a multi trade environment
Maintain relations with client and co-workers through effective interpersonal and communication skills
Assist with other duties as required
