We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our client’s team in South Central Edmonton. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction and mining equipment in both shop and field settings. Equipment Service & RepairsPerform full repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment and components.Plan and execute repair jobs efficiently and safely.Ensure high-quality workmanship and proper cosmetic finish.Return unused parts and materials according to company procedures.Record KeepingMaintain accurate documentation for time, parts, supplies, and any external purchases.Ensure job tracking complies with company standards and procedures.Tool & Equipment CareUse and return all specialty tools properly and in clean, working condition.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.Communication & TeamworkMaintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues.Support a respectful and inclusive work environment.What you must have:Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (421A or equivalent) preferred; apprentices will also be considered.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.2–5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair (construction or mining equipment preferred).Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.Reliable, safety-conscious, and solution-oriented.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Salary/Rate Range: $93,000 – $105,000Other Information:
