TalentSphere is partnering with an architecture firm with multiple offices looking to add a fully OAA or near fully OAA licensed architect to join their Toronto team. This Revit based firm specializes in private big box retailers, grocers, care dealerships & large-scale private distribution centers (300k+ sqft) projects with multiple stakeholders. They have trusted top-tier private clients based on 50 years of market expertise. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Professional Ontario license required (OAA); 2+ years of experience in architectural project management
- Solid Revit; experienced in distribution centers; high-end car dealership or corporate office experience a plus
- Technically inclined; experienced on working on complex projects; marking up drawings and providing feedback to architectural interns and technologists to deliver high-quality design solutions that align with client goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Someone with client facing experience; ability to build and maintain client relationships, from project inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet delivery deadlines and financial targets; willingness to be 30% involved in production drawings (hands-on) to ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate closely with internal and external teams, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to drive project progress.
- Oversee the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Have a car; experienced with contract administration duties; open to occasional travel
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team and client interactions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
