- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes-based APIs with Helm.
- Manage and optimize AWS resources for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support rapid iteration and high-quality releases.
- Design and implement robust RESTful and realtime APIs to power game systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices and backend systems using Typescript and C#.
- Ensure APIs and services are efficient, reliable, and secure to deliver an exceptional player experience.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to shaping new features and gameplay systems that engage players worldwide.
- Advocate for process and workflow improvements in our DevOps and development practices.
- Stay current with emerging cloud, DevOps, and game backend technologies.
- Continuously broaden your skillset to take on new challenges and opportunities.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering, with a focus on backend/API development and infrastructure/DevOps.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS resource management.
- Proficiency in Typescript and C#.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to address complex technical challenges and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Deep knowledge of backend architectures (REST, realtime APIs, microservices, data storage/retrieval).
- Familiarity with Game Backend as a Service (Playfab, AccelByte, Pragma, GameLift).
- Experience in game development workflows and exposure to Unreal Engine 5.
- Startup or small-team experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
