Cognizant is right where you belong.Role overviewWe are seeking a seasoned professional with demonstrated ability in Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial lines insurance consulting, focusing on the North American(US) markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engagement execution, program management, and business development within this sector.What you’ll do
  • Analyze client business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to address client needs and enhance business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of proposed solutions.
  • Strong techno functional expertise with ability to read technical outputs viz. pseudocode and reverse engineer them into process flows, functional requirements, etc.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
  • Apply analytical tools and methodologies to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to lead change and innovation within client organizations.
  • Support the development of new business opportunities through expert consultancy and client relationship management.
  • Ensure all consultancy practices adhere to the highest standards of quality and ethical guidelines.
  • Continuously seek to improve personal and team knowledge on relevant domains and consulting methodologies.
What you bring to the role
  • Must have a strong analytical attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • 10 to 13 years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills to handle complex projects.
  • Must be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Finance or a related field is required.
  • A Masters degree or equivalent experience or relevant professional certification is a plus.
