Job DescriptionAramark offers a 14/14 work rotation.
After 54 hours, the next 30 to 40 hours are paid at time and a half.Aramark provides a transportation allowance; employees must travel to Port-Cartier by their own means.Employees are provided with meals and accommodations (private room). Washer and dryer are provided.Candidates must reside in Port-Cartier, Sept-Îles, or the surrounding areas. A transportation allowance will be provided.Position: Cook

Split-shift premiumStart Date: Immediately – 2026Job Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
Prepare the daily menu.
Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.
Clean and maintain the work area.
Be able to meet operational needs.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Preferably hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in cooking or equivalent experience.
Strong culinary skills are an asset.
Experience working in a remote camp environment is an asset.
MAPAQ certification.
Ability to meet operational needs.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety programs.
Follow established safety regulations
