- Schedule: Monday- Friday
- Troubleshoot, debugging and resolving Avionic, Instrumentation and Components
- Use of special instruments for diagnostics
- Ability to interpret manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other resources
- Utilize technical schematics to diagnose and repair components and systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose issues from complex systems and apply effective solutions.
- Accurate completion of required paperwork in accordance with published procedures, manuals and documentation
- Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, a strong mechanical aptitude, strong electronics background and the ability to troubleshoot to component level.
- 5 years experience in Aviation Instrumentation, Avionic or Component bench experience is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience using magnification tools (e.g. microscopes, magnifying glasses) for precise soldering is required.
- Ability to read and follow drawings and work instructions for PCB assembly.
- Experience working with electronics component and electrical troubleshooting, preferably within aviation instrumentation, avionics or components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with gyro bench repairs and overhauling is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical proficiency and a solid understanding of electronics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills – to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications.
