Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will provide support for mechanical repair and maintenance of plant equipment in a heavy industrial environment.Responsibilities:Completes regular preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment according to established schedules and proceduresTroubleshoots, fabricates, repairs and installs mechanical equipment/parts in accordance with established proceduresParticipates in training related to this positionOperates in accordance with health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practicesProvide assistance to other Maintenance team members in a unionized environmentStrong work ethic with focus on working safety while completing all tasksAbility to work shift work, scheduled shutdowns and respond to Emergency Call-insWork additional overtime hours as requiredAdditional duties and responsibilities as requiredQualifications:Red Seal Certificate of Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (433A) or 2nd/3rd year apprenticesAbility to read and work from blue printsAbility to organize and plan work order assignmentsBasic computer skills with ability to learn in-house systemMust be capable of lifting and stacking 50 lbs. without assistanceDemonstrate organizational skills and personal initiativeStrong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and a proven safety recordAbility to work in conditions such as confined spaces, heights, dust, and temperature extremesRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of a competitive salary, pension, benefits as per the Collective Agreement and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should click the Apply icon to apply online by April 11, 2026.
