- Support the development and execution of brand partnership strategies for the Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra franchises (among other properties and assets).
- Work with the Senior Manager, Global Partnerships to lead all elements of NA Partnership relations including short-term and long-term plan development, event activations, budget management, approvals, and client management.
- Manage on-site execution of partner activations at Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra live events.
- Collaborate with internal OAM departments to support the objectives of our brand partners.
- Work collaboratively with the Global Partnerships team to drive revenue growth.
- Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies.
- Share in responsibility for planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management where appropriate and provide brand partners with post-event analysis and reports on a timely basis.
- Be an effective team player with strong customer service, communication, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Completion of a degree or diploma from a recognized College or University in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in sponsorship marketing.
- 2-4 years of experience with a sports or entertainment property, agency, or client.
- Self-starter who can work independently to manage multiple partnerships.
- A hands-on problem solver and critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills, adept at effectively managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proven experience with creating and building strategic sponsorship plans.
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills are required.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to clients.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and must be willing to work nights or weekends on occasion.
