With a diverse portfolio of world-class teams, including the Toronto Defiant (Overwatch), Toronto Ultra (Call of Duty League), MAD Lions KOI (League of Legends European Championship), among others, OAM is at the forefront of the rapidly expanding esports industry.POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships (NA) and based in Toronto, Canada, this role will join a dynamic team dedicated to driving revenue and activating brand partnerships for OAM and its properties. This role will work with the Senior Manager, Partnerships (NA) to manage the day-to-day planning and activation of the Toronto Defiant (Overwatch Champion Series - OWCS) and Toronto Ultra (Call of Duty League) brand partners and their agencies. This role will liaise with OAM internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of partner programs and benefits. This candidate should have proven account management skills and be creative in pushing the boundaries of traditional sponsorship. This role will require a high degree of cross-functional team collaboration and communication.We’re looking for:A Self-Starter – The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Manager, Partnerships (NA) but will also be expected to work autonomously to manage their own projects and time appropriately to meet the fast-paced demands of the business.

An Esports Fan – A strong understanding of and passion for Esports will be beneficial to the successful candidate.RequirementsCORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the development and execution of brand partnership strategies for the Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra franchises (among other properties and assets).
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Global Partnerships to lead all elements of NA Partnership relations including short-term and long-term plan development, event activations, budget management, approvals, and client management.
  • Manage on-site execution of partner activations at Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra live events.
  • Collaborate with internal OAM departments to support the objectives of our brand partners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Global Partnerships team to drive revenue growth.
  • Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies.
  • Share in responsibility for planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management where appropriate and provide brand partners with post-event analysis and reports on a timely basis.
  • Be an effective team player with strong customer service, communication, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLSEducation and Experience
  • Completion of a degree or diploma from a recognized College or University in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in sponsorship marketing.
  • 2-4 years of experience with a sports or entertainment property, agency, or client.
Skills and Abilities
  • Self-starter who can work independently to manage multiple partnerships.
  • A hands-on problem solver and critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, adept at effectively managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience with creating and building strategic sponsorship plans.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills are required.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and must be willing to work nights or weekends on occasion.
