Job Title: Gen AI /ML Engineer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 12 MonthsIntroductionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Developer to join our technology team and drive the acceleration of AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AI/ML, large language model (LLM) integration, and workflow automation, combined with hands-on experience in Java and Spring Framework.Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

Expertise in AI/ML and GenAI technologies
Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their integration
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Experience with Oracle databases for data management and retrieval
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with MLOps, CICD pipelines, and model deployment in production
Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in AI research

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, chatbots, and intelligent automation workflows
Integrate LLMs (e.g., GPT, Cohere, or open-source models) into existing Java/Spring-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, data scientists, product managers) to define AI strategy, roadmap, and technical requirements
