- Prepare and develop finite element models of rubber tracks for numerical simulation, including geometry simplification, mesh strategy definition, and ensuring the numerical quality of the models
- Model track assemblies and complete vehicles in Abaqus/CAE, including the track, suspension, and other subsystems
- Set up, run, and debug static, quasi-static, and dynamic nonlinear analyses
- Analyze, interpret, and synthesize simulation results to formulate clear and structured technical recommendations
- Support product development engineers in the design and validation of metal parts
- Collaborate on simulation/test correlation and the continuous improvement of modeling practices
- Actively participate in technological advancements related to numerical simulation (methods, tools, best practices)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong knowledge of materials science and the fundamentals of mechanics
- A keen interest in product development and optimization
- Attention to detail and a strong critical thinking mindset
- Ability to analyze problems in depth and a curious mind
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in finite element modeling, ideally with Abaqus
- Knowledge of the nonlinear behavior of materials (rubber, metals)
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge or equivalent)
- Knowledge of calculation automation and simulation workflows (e.g., Python)
- Interest in numerical validation and correlation with experimental testing
