Together, we have developed a variety of programs to foster Indigenous student belonging, participation and success.Job Summary:A position responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and improving technology systems and business processes to support school division operations and education delivery. The System Analyst serves as the critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders - translating organizational needs into system requirements, leading solution assessments, and overseeing the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems across the division\'s broad and modern technology ecosystem.This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and strategic scope. The System Analyst exercises significant independent judgment and initiative, coordinating across departments and with external partners to deliver technology solutions aligned with divisional priorities. Rather than focusing on direct software development, this position leads needs assessments, evaluates enterprise systems against divisional requirements, coordinates multi-department projects, manages vendor relationships, and drives cross-functional alignment - reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.Work location is at the GSCS Service Centre at 1402 Fletcher Road, though occasional travel to the administrative buildings (located in Saskatoon) and schools (some located out of town) is required. A valid Saskatchewan driver\'s license and a safe, reliable, licensed, and insured vehicle are also required.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or equivalent)
Professional of technical certification
Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, business process analysis, or IT project coordination
Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roles
Preference may be given to candidates with:
Experience within the Pre-K - 12 Education Sector
Previous experience working with internal application hubs, helpdesk platforms (such as Jira Service Management and Atlassian Confluence), and custom web portals integrated with Entra ID for single sign-on
Familiarity with API-based integration patterns, including RESTful API analysis, data mapping between systems, and workflow automation using middleware or platform connectors
Experience with Power BI including dashboard design, data modelling, and enterprise data integration. Ability to assess reporting requirements, evaluate data quality, and work with technical teams to build analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making at the divisional level
Proven experience coordinating cross-functional IT projects, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and communicating project status to stakeholders and senior leadership
Experience working with third-party vendors and managed service providers, reviewing technical proposals, and managing service delivery expectations within a structured public sector procurement environment
Ability to map current-state processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop future-state recommendations supported by clear documentation in platforms such as Confluence
