We are seeking an experienced Eagle Technology Specialist to support critical business and technology initiatives in Vancouver, including batch processing optimization, code migration, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Eagle Investment Systems and related financial technologies, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting strategic migrations.Key Responsibilities
Batch Processing Support
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize batch jobs in Eagle to ensure data integrity and timely processing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine batch schedules and improve performance.
- Lead code migration efforts (e.g., from legacy systems to modern platforms) while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Develop and maintain scripts, APIs, and automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support testing, validation, and deployment of system upgrades.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide training to junior team members.
- Contribute to post-implementation reviews and process improvements.
Technical Expertise
- L4/L5 proficiency in Eagle Investment Systems (v20 preferred).
- Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, SQL, Java, or similar).
- Experience with batch processing tools (e.g., Autosys, Cron, or equivalent).
- Understanding of financial services operations (asset management, wealth management).
- Ability to analyze business needs and propose technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience with code migration projects (e.g., mainframe to cloud).
- Familiarity with Client’s technology ecosystem (if applicable).
- L4 – 5 years in financial technology, with 3 years in Eagle.
- L5 – 7 years in financial technology, with 5 years in Eagle and leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
