- Regular shifts with the opportunity for overtime work.
- Obtaining a clear understanding of the customers concerns from reviewing the work order and discussing any potential problems with the shop supervisor.
- Identify performance problems while using the diagnostic equipment and advising the customers and customer-facing associates on the work performed, general vehicle condition, and future suggested maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune ups.
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards.
- Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all “work safe” protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers.
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.

- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG without assistance, is required.
- This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge.
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling.
- Completion of a registered 4 year automotive service technician apprenticeship program.
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license permitting the independent operation of a passenger vehicle.
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract from licensing province as requested by management.
