In this role, you will participate in our 14x14 shift schedule which requires you to work fourteen 12-hour day shifts (7am – 7pm), followed by fourteen days off. Schedules are based on business needs and subject to change. Therefore, we are seeking a Coordinator - HSE, A to join our growing team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This dynamic role will be instrumental in ensuring field operations at Long Lake comply with site-specific and corporate HSE standards, supporting hazard mitigation to ALARP levels, and driving continuous improvement in Oil Sands HSE performance.Your Background
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and preferred professional accreditation such as CRSP – equivalencies will be considered.
  • Minimum 8 years of occupational and/or process safety experience in a heavy industry setting, preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Construction and Commissioning, Civil Works, and Drilling and Completions would be an asset.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and purpose with, with proven capacity for problem-solving and producing sustainable results through teamwork and individual effort.
  • Working knowledge and experience with provincial legislation, safety related requirements in interpreting OHS regulations and safety codes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization skills.
