- Prepare and generate sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform account reconciliations, reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies.
- Create journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Compile, create, and review monthly financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to support audits and decision-making.
- Assist with financial analysis, including preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
- Maintain financial records and files in an organized, confidential, and accessible manner.
- Support administrative tasks within the Finance department, including document tracking and responding to internal inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental success.
- Accurate and timely invoice processing and data entry.
- Balanced and reconciled accounts with discrepancies identified and addressed.
- Complete and reliable financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Well-organized and confidential financial records.
- Currently attending a business-related post-secondary program, preferably with an accounting focus (an asset).
- Previous accounting or finance-related experience (an asset).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Positive, professional, and courteous attitude.
- Eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
- Competitive compensation of $18.00/hr.
