Your role:
  • Safely transporting students to and from school on time.
  • Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
  • Ensuring students’ safety while boarding, exiting buses and crossing the street.
Your profile
  • You hold a Class 1 OR 2 license with S-endorsement (S is an asset).
  • If you do not currently hold a Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s license, you must have at minimum a Class 5 NWT license and have obtained a Class 2 learner’s permit.
  • You have demonstrated experience in mobility transporting people.
  • You have a good understanding of English and can communicate effectively.
  • You hold a valid (non-probationary) driver's license and a good driving record.
Upon pre-hire, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Clear criminal records check
  • Clean vulnerable sector check
  • Pass drug & alcohol testing (this includes cannabis, which is prohibited by corporate policies).
Your location
  • We are located in Kam Lake for easy daily commute.
  • There is a requirement to work Monday-Friday for at least 2 hours between the hours of 6:00AM to 9:00AM returning for a split shift from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
  • There is an additional 2 hour shift on Thursdays from 11:30AM to 1:30AM
