An advanced manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support the machining of high-precision components for the automotive and HVAC industry. This role is ideal for a machinist who thrives on complex, non-repetitive work and enjoys collaborating with Engineering and Maintenance to improve processes, accuracy, and equipment performance.You'll work with modern CNC equipment, tight tolerances, and engineered drawings to produce critical components that directly impact production efficiency and quality.Location - Vaughan, ON

Set up, program (at the machine and/or offline), and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision components and toolingMachine custom parts, fixtures, and prototypes with tight tolerancesInterpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and 3D modelsSelect tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds/speeds for efficiency and tool lifeInspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators)Troubleshoot machining issues related to quality, tooling, or process stabilitySupport continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing optimizationPerform light preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work areaQualifications
3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with CNC milling and/or turning (setup to completion)Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and tolerancesWorking knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similarExperience machining custom or low-volume precision componentsSolid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining best practicesSummary
