Set up, program (at the machine and/or offline), and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision components and toolingMachine custom parts, fixtures, and prototypes with tight tolerancesInterpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and 3D modelsSelect tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds/speeds for efficiency and tool lifeInspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators)Troubleshoot machining issues related to quality, tooling, or process stabilitySupport continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing optimizationPerform light preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work areaQualifications
3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with CNC milling and/or turning (setup to completion)Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and tolerancesWorking knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similarExperience machining custom or low-volume precision componentsSolid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining best practicesSummary
