- Oversee the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis across various entities and projects.
- Lead efforts to apply and maintain accounting policies aligned with relevant standards, including guidance on revenue recognition and asset classification.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the primary contact for auditors and advisors.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with statutory reporting requirements and filings.
- Direct the consolidation process for multiple entities, joint ventures, and special purpose vehicles, including handling intercompany eliminations.
- Provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters for acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.
- Develop and oversee accounting policies for real estate development costs, including capitalization and allocation practices.
- Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting.
- Mentor and guide the financial reporting team while supporting system upgrades and data migration initiatives.
