- Read technical and administrative project specifications;
- Inspect work daily to ensure that it meets the specified standards;
- Inform the Project Manager of project development and discuss methods planned with him and the Superintendent;
- Order critical material with suppliers in collaboration with the Job Superintendent;
- Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting;
- Prepare daily reports related to the crew, progress, and issues;
- Provide document control for correspondence, submittals, RFI’s, NCR, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as-builts;
- Organize and participate in various meetings;
- Establish and keep necessary communications between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals, and client;
- Assist in carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site related to the project;
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology;
- Related job experience of 1-3 years in construction field engineering on Infrastructure projects;
- Advanced skills in written and oral English language;
- Willingness to travel extensively;
- Ability to climb, work at various heights and work outdoors in all weather;
- Advanced skills in communication and problem solving;
- Initiative and leadership;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam
