About the job Hotel Cleaner - Canalta HannaHotel cleanerThe Hotel cleaner is responsible for the orderliness and cleaning throughout all areas of the property, including public areas, guest rooms & storage rooms, all while living up to our Canalta Mission and VisionKey Duties and Responsibilities:Vacuum carpets, floors and upholsteryClean kitchen and bathroomsEnsure that hotel equipment are functionalStock linen closets and other supplies' areasRestocking cart after every shiftApply the Key Service Standards with everyone you interact with (Smile, Speak, be Empowered and Entertain)Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canaltas policies and proceduresStrictly observe all guidelines established by Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS and WCBPerform other duties as may be required by the general managerQualifications: (experience needed and education)Previous experience working in a similar role in hotel and accommodations an assetMust be able to perform physical tasks during a standard 8 hour shiftMust be available to work on various shifts (day, evening, night)Salary: $18.05 / hourVacation: 2 weeks per year after first year workedBenefits: Group insurance benefits including dental, health and vision.
