Description:You are the friendly, animated, and informative Panorama ambassador to our guests entering the General Store! You provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service selling and promoting grocery items and confections. You are aware of all current events and resort information and keep our guests informed accordingly! You will be able to tell guests exactly where the item is that they are looking for! This position involves a lot of lifting and requires a physically fit individual to be able to complete all tasks.Essential Functions:
  • Fast, accurate and friendly cashiering and collection of money tendered.
  • Maintain store and products in a clean, orderly fashion for presentation to guests, mark all.
  • food and sundry items with appropriate prices and stock shelves - rotate perishables, maintain inventory control system.
  • Continually strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
  • Provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls.
  • Operate a computer POS system and all related procedures.
  • Perform daily operational routines and all related procedures (merchandising, restocking, cleanliness check list, etc.)
  • Contribute to the positive growth of Panorama through suggestions and functions, adhere to all security procedures involving cash handling, theft, liability and premises.
  • Complete a retail training checklist.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all Panorama products and services.
  • Learn and demonstrate knowledge of sales training and related steps.
Experience/Requirements:
  • High School, previous grocery or retail and cash handling experience
  • Computer literate
  • Working on your feet in the store for long periods of time
  • Lifting and moving of boxes and product, up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to sell alcohol in the province of British Columbia (19yrs+)
