Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Senior Project Engineering to provide technical and program leadership within an aerospace engineering environment for our client in Mississauga, ON. This role leads a multidisciplinary Controls Systems team and is responsible for project execution, cost and schedule performance, risk management, and customer delivery across complex aerospace development programs.You should be a strong technical leader with proven experience managing aerospace development programs within DO-178B/C, DO-254, and ARP4754 environments, capable of operating effectively in fast-paced, regulated settings.*This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.Pay Rate: $Location: Mississauga, ONShift: 9:00am - 5:00pmJob type: Temporary | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Project & Engineering LeadershipProvide project engineering leadership for the Controls Systems team, consisting of multidisciplinary engineering membersEstablish task priorities and execution clarity to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budgetLead engineering execution across development programs with a high degree of autonomy, creativity, and accountabilityProgram Planning & ControlsDevelop and manage Estimate at Completion (EAC) and program cost forecastsBuild and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Deploy and manage Earned Value Management (EVM)Develop resource plans and ensure accurate forecasting in the MAT tool, in collaboration with PP&C and PMODevelop, implement, and monitor program metrics to ensure accurate, up-to-date status reportingRisk, Performance & Continuous ImprovementIdentify, manage, and mitigate program risksProactively drive corrective actions to address cost, schedule, or performance variancesMonitor diagnostics and key performance indicators; provide objective, timely feedback to stakeholdersStakeholder & Customer EngagementServe as a key technical and program interface with internal and external stakeholdersEstablish and maintain effective customer relationships and ensure customer expectations are metLead and coordinate remote engineering teams across locationsClearly assign accountability for decisions and deliverablesQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Systems, Software, Systems Design, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering6-8 years of experience in an aerospace engineering environment3-5+ years of project engineering leadership experience within aerospace development programsHands-on experience working in DO-178B/C, DO-254, and ARP4754 regulated environmentsEligibility and ability to obtain clearance for military development programsExperience with requirements management (asset)Familiarity with control systemsBroad technical knowledge of:Program management principlesAircraft and aircraft subsystemsAerospace certification methodologiesExperience leading geographically distributed or remote teamsStrong project management and technical leadership skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilitiesAdvanced problem-solving capabilities with the ability to operate under ambiguityComfort managing uncertainty, risk, and limited informationFlexible and adaptive leadership style in evolving systems and processesAbility to identify and remove execution barriers to enable team successClear goal-setting, accountability assignment, and performance monitoringCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to resultsMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
