Boutique Dental office in Oakville is looking for Certified Dental Assistant.POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experienced Dental Assistant
  • Prefer candidate to have their NDAEB certificate
  • Must be HARP certified
LOCATION: near 403 & 3rd Line, OakvilleHOURS:
  • Mon 9:30-5:30
  • Wed 9:30-5:30
  • Fri 8:30-3:30
COMPENSATION: ​$30, possibly more depending on experience and performanceJOB OVERVIEW:
  • Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
  • Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges, veneers, implants invisalign, fillings, extractions and mouth guards
  • Placement and removal of rubber dams
  • Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
  • Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
  • Taking preliminary impressions
  • Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
  • Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
  • Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
  • Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
