- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategy and resolution.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations with effectiveness and integrity.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies and identify potential risks.
- Manage multiple litigation files, maintaining organization and attention to deadlines.
- Advise clients on legal matters, providing clear and concise guidance tailored to their needs.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations, integrating them into case strategies as needed.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and build strong relationships.
- Assist in class action litigation cases, providing research and strategic input.
- Contribute to maintaining a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Called to the bar in Ontario with at least three years of relevant legal experience.
- Proven expertise in class action litigation and commercial litigation processes.
- Exceptional legal research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and delivering high-quality legal services.
- Proficiency in legal software and tools is an asset.
