Our team is dedicated to making our customers’ vacation dreams a reality.We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (A/P) Associate to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Abbotsford, BC. In this role, you will support the full cycle of non-payroll accounts payable processing, ensuring invoices, payments, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time in a high-volume environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable ProcessingDistribute and obtain approvals for a high volume of invoicesCode and enter invoices to appropriate GL codes including:Operating expensesService work ordersParts invoicesBrokerage and duty invoicesCourier and freight invoicesInternal driver paymentsReview company invoices for errors or discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied transactionsPayments and Vendor ManagementPrepare bi-weekly cheque and EFT batchesPrepare monthly USD cheques and wire payments including:F&I product paymentsCBSA paymentsBrokerage paymentsPrepare remittances and cheques for signing and mailingCreate and maintain vendor files and recordsReconcile vendor statements to ensure payments meet agreed termsFinancial AdministrationPrepare spreadsheets for allocation of fuel expensesAdminister and maintain company MasterCardsReview and approve monthly MasterCard statements in Concur and upload to ERPPrepare yearly lease documentation, payments, and property tax paymentsComplete credit applications and obtain approval from the Sr. Director of FinanceReporting and ReconciliationPerform daily bank reconciliations including location cheques and online paymentsPrepare monthly GST reports and annual PST reportsProcess payments for lien payouts, buy-ins, consignments, and refundsGeneral Administrative SupportOpen and distribute incoming mailMaintain organized filing systems for outstanding and paid invoicesSupport vacation coverage within the A/P team and perform additional duties as requiredCompliance and ConfidentialityEnsure strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records and company informationMaintain strong financial controls and accurate documentationCore CompetenciesCommunication and teamworkStrong work ethic and positive team attitudeAbility to work independently and collaborativelyEnforcing laws, rules, and regulationsAbility to meet deadlinesProcessing high volumes with accuracy and attention to detailTroubleshooting and problem solvingAccountability and dependabilityEthics and integrityRequirements3–5 years of direct Accounts Payable experienceSupervisory experience is considered an assetDemonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial recordsAbility to perform moderate to complex account reconciliationsBasic knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controlsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams)Experience with IDS Astra/G2 ERP system is considered an assetStrong analytical, planning, prioritization, and execution skillsExcellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build and maintain lasting relationships with departments, locations, and business partnersStrong troubleshooting and problem resolution skillsCompensationThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant industry background.Why Join Our TeamWe offer our team members many benefits to help them achieve their goals and support our company culture.
