- Act as the single point of contact for the Project financial profile and performance
- Track and explain revenue, cost, and margin changes throughout project execution, from the initial to the final forecast
- Maintain and administer the internal financial reporting document of the Project, the “Project Report” (update forecast, actuals, risks and opps, and more)
- Track and analyze the progress of project costs and revenue recognition ensuring accuracy according to project execution progress
- Prepare the monthly forecast proposal for the Project Manager and Cost Owners
- Work together with the Project Manager to understand cost impacts and to influence Project profitability
- Track and explain monthly forecast changes
- Understand and communicate project risks and opportunities
- Plan, invoice, and timely collect cash from customer, in close coordination with PM
- Process guarantees and payment securities under project, and ensure timely return or release of such
- Act as the Cost Owner for all commercial / financial cost items of a project, acting as interface between Finance Dept and Project Team
- Consolidate, analyze and report Project CM (and its historical development) as well as further exposure to Project CM from risks and opportunities, ensuring stability of CM development by usage of contingencies and provisions
- Analyze actuals, purchase orders to estimate the cost to complete in coordination with the Cost Owners (Materials, Logistic and Site) and Project Manager
- Review, challenge and approve project figures before submission
- Coordinate and work closely with accounting for accuracy and efficiency of reporting
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- BS in Accounting/Finance required.
- MBA strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of business finance experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. No immigration sponsorship is available for this role.
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the United States for occasional business trips.
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
- Driving is essential to this role. A full, valid driver's license and insurability under our auto policy are required. We will conduct periodic driver's abstract (driving record) checks to confirm ongoing insurability.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

- Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Properly use applicable safety equipment, including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

- Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
