The show is based in our Halifax station and broadcast across Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. This role requires a strong self-starter with a passion for storytelling.Reporting to the Producer and the Senior Manager, News and Programming, for Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, you will take a lead role in both the preparation and presentation of the show. You will build strong relationships with our audience, both on air and across our digital platforms. You will be a key contributor to the planning, design and organization of the program, proposing content ideas and conducting interviews on or off air; you will also interact with program participants.As the host of a Radio-Canada morning show, you are more than just a presenter — you are the face of our team and a vital voice for the community.Responsibilities:In this role, you perform a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and on-air presentation of program material on radio, television and/or digital platforms. You may be involved in developing and executing the program, and the direction of the program can often be influenced by your knowledge and performance capabilities.
