We’re currently hiring a Threader Labourer for a great opportunity with a well-established manufacturing client in Welland. This temporary role is covering a leave and is expected to run until the end of July. It offers competitive pay, shift premiums, and steady full-time hours.Schedule: Rotating 12-hour continental shifts
Wage: $24.10/hour + $0.60 afternoon shift premium + $0.70 night shift premium
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per weekJob Duties:
  • Operate equipment required to perform job functions
  • Complete daily start-up inspections and follow up on preventive maintenance
  • Lift 10–60 lb couplings onto pipe ends
  • Assist with cleaning machinery
  • Grind threads using a grinder
  • Apply thread compound (dope)
  • Apply striping and stamping to pipes using hand rollers and manual stamps
  • Power-tighten couplings using an automated system
  • Maintain handwritten production reports
Job Requirements:
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (minimum)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and continuous heavy lifting
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass a criminal background check
Required Equipment:
  • CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots
