Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityStantec is actively seeking experienced Project Managers for our Transportation teams located in Markham, Hamilton, London, Waterloo, and Ottawa. Our Transportation Business Line provides consulting and technical advisory services for public sector clients, including Metrolinx, the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO), and municipalities across Ontario.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDirecting design staff, and managing multi-discipline project teamsFinancial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change-order management, and client invoicingDeveloping proposals, budgets and schedules, and on-going business development and liaison with clientsCollaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirementsSupporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety programEnsuring that the required functions of the project are satisfactorily performedDeveloping and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsBuilding a strong culture of quality design and teamworkClients may be both internal and external to StantecOther duties as assigned/required ""Your Capabilities and CredentialsStrong leadership, negotiation, communication and customer relationship skillsExperienced in project management on transportation projectsExperienced in report and proposal writingExperienced in roadway, rail, or transit designExperienced in AutoCAD, Microstation and InRoads or Civil 3D software will set you apart from your peer groupEducation and ExperienceUniversity or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in the field of transportation design and constructionProfessional Engineer (P.Eng. or LEL) is requiredMinimum of ten (10) years demonstrated experience with project management or engineering design responsibilitiesThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.
