- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to guide business decision-making
- Collaborate with department leaders to improve and streamline accounting functions
- Implement and maintain the Open Invoice system to ensure efficient invoice processing and cost tracking
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure up-to-date financial operations
- Previous experience as a Controller
- CPA designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or similar roles, with demonstrated expertise in overseeing financial operations
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Open Invoice experience required)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships
- High attention to detail and accuracy, paired with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
