
Guideway Precast Facilities Manager

They will act as the main point of contact for TGP to address schedule, technical and production activities full the full precast fabrication lifecycle. They will be responsible for ensuring that the quality criteria set out in the specifications are adhered to during the fabrication process. They will manage and coordinate any changes to the design if they arise.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the precast facility, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, codes, and standards.Work closely with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to address compliance issues and obtain necessary approvals.Monitor progress and report status to the Elevated Guideway Construction Manager.Manage construction and access plans with contractors to ensure smooth operations and minimal impact on ongoing activities.Develop and implement plans to optimize construction logistics and minimize disruptions to surrounding areas.Coordinate permitting required for delivery of the precast units (regular and oversized) with the precaster.Prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, budget status, and any issues encountered.Facilitate meetings to review progress and address any concerns.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.Enforce safety protocols and ensure the facility complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.10 years of experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a lead role.Experience with subway projects, elevated guideway/ bridge assets.Strong problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.A commitment to safety, environment and quality, with a strong attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, with a focus on achieving project goals and enhancing team performance.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Canada, as well as the Top Employers North America 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 seal, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
