- Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services
- Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
- Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks
- Provide technical/strategic direction to team members

- Contribute to configuration and maintenance a single target Jira Cloud template (issue types, workflows, fields, schemes, permissions) and reusable project patterns.
- Use Cloud Migration tools (e.g. JCMA) and sandbox dry‑runs to orchestrate discovery, mapping, freeze, execution, and aftercare per migration; perform pre/post checks, reconcile key IDs/links, and coordinate go/no‑go.
- Replace on-prem‑only plug‑ins with cloud equivalents or native capabilities (i.e. use ScriptRunner to enable automations and validations; Zephyr Enterprise as standard test management; Git integrations for GitHub, Lightspeed, Release on Demand
- Design and maintain Jira/Confluence Cloud automations and scripted behaviors (e.g., field validation, standardized transitions, evidence extraction),
- Configure JSM portals, automations, and reporting to support ITSM/incident flows and access processes.
- Build enterprise migration dashboards and metrics packs for PMO/executive consumers.
- Act as migration SME with functional champions; support wave capacity planning, success metrics, and enable standardization.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 6+ years’ experience managing the Atlassian estate (Jira/Confluence), including complex integrations, automations, and end‑to‑end Jira and infrastructure migrations (on‑prem to cloud and cloud‑to‑cloud).
- Experience working in Financial Services global organizations, with strong awareness of regulatory and control requirements; experience in a highly regulated environment strongly preferred.
- Strong exposure to AI tools and capabilities, with practical knowledge of how AI is used in day‑to‑day work (automation, analytics, productivity).
- Solid understanding of how specialization contributes to business outcomes, including knowledge of industry competitors, products, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver metrics, reporting, analytical tools, benchmarking, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), applying disciplined change, testing, and controlled deployments to system administration tasks.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage and optimize complex systems under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences, manage stakeholder expectations, and work effectively across cross‑functional, global, and virtual teams.
- Thorough understanding of IT security, compliance, and risk controls, and their importance in a regulated banking environment.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python and PowerShell is preferred.
