If you’re ready to join us on this journey, we want to hear from you!As the Connectivity Product Owner (PO), you will lead a cross-functional pod to build integrations between Guidewire, our Broker and MGA systems. This individual will own end-to-end decisions and outcomes. The PO is responsible for leading dependencies with other workstream functions while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships across the different teams. They will work closely with their pod and key collaborators to ensure business value and user feedback is translated into features to be delivered. The PO will be accountable for delivering objectives and key results related to their products.The PO must have excellent leadership skills and believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Finally, the PO should be comfortable with full ownership and accountability as they focus on delivering exceptional broker and business results.What you'll do:Own, maintain the backlog and prioritize the day-to-day work based on features that deliver high value and maximum automation for their workstreamSet ambitious, clear product vision; communicate it effectively to key partners and teamGuide and contribute to the end-to-end team output from inception to productionCollaborate with partners to ensure Broker Connectivity vision aligns with overall program strategyResponsible for workstream objectives and key results, and regular tracking/communication to partnersAlign with other POs to ensure interfaces to other Products and common objectives and key results are maintainedUnderstand the financial impact of team and Product related decisionsDefine and implement metrics to monitor solutions once in productionWork closely with design to integrate usability studies, testing and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfactionConnectivity:Prioritize connectivity scope to ensure the highest value epics are delivered to drive ease of doing business for BrokersManage business relationship with vendors for the project to ensure vendor delivery meets business needEnsure build factors in future speed to market and APIs are built with no to low effort for BAU changeWhat you'll bring:Undergraduate degreeCIP or FCIP designation preferred5-10 years personal insurance industry experience3+ years leadership experienceSolid knowledge of P&C insurance and Home & auto insurance productsStrong business acumen and proven ability to collaborate with key collaborators at all levels of the organizationFamiliarity with tech systems / IT, able to engage in discussion with each tech team to understand risksFamiliarity with agile principles from experience as a Product Owner or a similar positionConnectivity experience requiredStrong communication & leadership skills, comfortable speaking with partners and influencing othersAbility to lead, prioritize work, and inspire a cross-functional team to achieve the joint missionStrong problem-solving skills, ability to drive a solution and monitor its progressAbility to build, own and articulate end-to-end conversion strategy; define scope and roadmap from ideation to releaseAbility to clearly express the connections between larger business goals & specific backlog items for the teamAbility to influence decision-makers and manage partners to achieve the Product missionBelieves in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust throughout the teamExecution-focused, player/coach, and not afraid to "roll up their sleeves" & get out of their comfort zone to learn – inspires their team to do the sameWhat you’ll get:Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Outstanding Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per yearEmployee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusionCorporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental healthHybrid flexible work modelPlease note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
