- Tunnel construction experience is preferable, but not an exclusion criterion
- Able to work rotational shifts day and night & weekends
- Will be required to work on a construction site
- Supervise daily tunneling operations, including excavation, lining installation, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor TBM performance, ground conditions, and advance rates; report issues promptly to the Shift Manager or Project Engineer.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site, conducting pre-shift briefings and safety inspections.
- Record shift data such as production metrics, equipment status, and material usage for project documentation.
- Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, and mechanical teams to ensure alignment accuracy and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot technical or operational issues that arise during excavation and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate shift handover details clearly to the next team, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Contribute to risk assessments, quality control checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
