Construction Project Manager - Pre-engineered Steel BuildingsLocation: Langley, BCEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Mon - Fri in the office with occasional travel to site)Must Haves:
  • 8+ years’ experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
  • Relevant construction management education.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer software, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in Structural steel or pre-engineered steel buildings.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of construction, ensuring effective communication with owners, consultants, and sub-trades.
  • Lead on-site personnel, which includes superintendents and/or sub-trades.
  • Oversee project initiation, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Prioritize and promote safety while ensuring projects are executed on schedule and with high quality.
  • Prepare progress invoices, manage change orders to the owner, and oversee purchase orders/change orders to sub-trades.
  • Close out projects efficiently and thoroughly.
